We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fuel Oil Analyst to join our team.
As a Fuel Oil Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating fuel oil market trends, prices, supply and demand, as well as geopolitical and regulatory developments affecting the industry.
You will be expected to produce timely and insightful market reports, provide strategic advice to clients, and work closely with our sales and trading teams to help identify and capture profitable opportunities in the market.
Reporting to the Senior Fuel Oil Analyst in the Client's brand new flagship office, you must have 5+ years experience as a Fuel Oil Analyst, with proven commercial experience and client-facing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute a commercial product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company's overall strategic goals.
- Conduct market analysis and gather insights on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities.
- Develop detailed product plans, including product positioning, pricing, packaging, and promotion, and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define go-to-market strategies and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to drive product adoption and market share.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics and adjust strategies and plans as needed to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of products and solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to foster a high-performance culture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial product management, with a proven track record of developing and launching successful products and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex product plans and business strategies.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics and customer needs and translate them into innovative products and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience in technology, SaaS or B2B industries is preferred.
